Lets Plan a Trip for 2001
Hawaii Kona & Maui
Diving the splendid Kona Coast and Maui are one of the real
treats if you have never experienced diving in Hawaii these two areas have
many similar characteristics but many different types of marine life. Maui
we will be diving primarily Molokini Island Hawaii's Premier Marine Preserve
. This dive site is one of the best dive sites in Hawaii and the dive
operator one of the best I have ever dove with. This dive trip you will
learn more just from being there then you ever knew about the oceans. The
time of year is top Whale season for Humpback Whales, just seeing one of these graceful
giants will change your life forever. The dive adventure that we
are now working on will leave on April 25th to May 5th 2001 diving with
Mike & Pauline Severns.
Grand Cayman
Its hard to imagine a destination that offers dive travelers
more. The island of Grand Cayman underwater offers incredible diversity
colorful walls, shallow coral reefs, new and old wrecks, caves and coral
canyons. A multitude of marine life including the Sting Rays at
"Sting Ray City", groupers and huge moray eels. Divers enjoy all
this in the most reliable visibility that averages 75 to 100 feet and water
temperatures from 79 to 83 degrees making this a great year round
destination. Diving couldn't be easier anywhere. Grand Cayman hub of
activity and home to the world's most famous dive sites. Popularity with
non=divers has brought upscale development and a diverse range of
activities. Walk, run, or swim, but by all means get to Seven Mile
Beach, Here you will find one of the most spectacular beaches in the
Caribbean. On this side of the island you will find some of the finest
hotels, restaurants, night life and a vast array of topside activities. Or
venture away form the crowds to the rural East End for peace and quiet.
The dive adventure we are working on now is leaving on August, 2001 diving with Aquanuats.
Cabo San Lucas
Lands End The waters off of Cabo San Lucas usually offer
excellent diving. Sea life is plentiful, and there is usually very little
'surge' on the Sea of Cortez side of Cabo. Out around the Lands End Arch
the swells can cause some rougher waters near the surface, but the diving is
usually calm at the sand and rock bottom at 30 feet. Water temperature
usually runs from 70 degrees to 85 degrees . Depending on varied
circumstances such as ocean currents and El Nino's these numbers can run a
little higher or lower. Visibility is usually very good most of the year.
Summer visibility usually reaching between 60 to 80 ft. There is lots of
entertainment in Cabo and the town runs about 24hrs a day. The restaurants
are plentiful with many choices to select from. The dive adventure that we are
working on now This was a very successful trip this year May 25th thru June 4th 2000 diving with
Underwater Diversions. We are planning a trip for the 2001 season.
